Boxy Charm December 2014

OK So here is another box review. I am almost all caught up with December. Haha It is just so hard because I feel all of them come at one time on the same day so it is like AHHHHHHH now I have a million reviews to do. 

I hope everyones Christmas was fantastic! :D Mine was defiantly and I got some fun makeup as well as I hope all of you did too! :D and if not that is what Christmas money is for right?! HAHA

Boxy Charm December of 2014

The theme was Jingle Bells :)

I love this box subscription! Only 21 Dollars a month and the products are always full size (with a few exceptions). So worth the money! It is actually probably my favorite subscription box I get :)

So let's start! 

The first item on the list is: 

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette

I already owned this, so I eneded up giving it to my little sister for Christmas :) BUT I LOVE this palette! I mean if I would have known I was reciving it in this box I would have held off but I ordered it like three months before now haha so how could I have known? But I love the colors in this they are all so pretty. They last and are easy to apply. A little goes a long way. It is great for everyday makeup look!

Next on the list is The Lina Luxury Mink Lashes.

So The only time I have ever worn fake lashes were for dance recitals growing up. So I am excited to try these out, but I think it will be a while before I do, because I don't wanna ruin these haha. We will see what I do with them. They are soft though. Very soft :)

Next up we have the 

Mistura Beauty Solutions Retractable Beauty Brush

Guys when I saw this I felt like a kid in the candy store. #butreally When I was younger I swear my mom had one of these brushes and I loved to play with it! HAHA So actually I do like this brush. Such a great one it is soft. And Since it is retractable I can adjust the size and get alot of use out of it! I am so excited!!! :D I love makeup brushes!!!

Next item is:

Be A Bombshell Lip Stick

GUYS! I was so HAPPY when I got this!!! I saw TONS of people getting lip gloss and I did not want lip gloss I do not like lip gloss so I am SO glad I got the lip stick! The color BTW is FANTASTIC! I love it such a fun pretty color this was probably my favorite item from the box! NOt going to lie it was a little messed up with it came. But I just kinda put it back into place and it is just fine and works great! I was looking for a new red lippie and this one was PERFECT!

And last we have the Eva NYC hair Spray. 

This one is travel sized, but I am ok with that because I have lots of hairspray. But I fell this is something you can always use more of. So I am glad I got this. I saw a lot of other people getting I think it was shampoos and hair oils and I am so glad I got this. Because I already have enough of those other items. 

So over all I am very happy with my boxy charm box! I am so excited to see what I getnext month!!!

Target Winter Boxes

Ok so, Like I said I have been wanting to catch up with my reviewing boxes. So in this post I will be doing the Target Winter boxes. 

So after my last Target box I didn't want to do another one. I didn't really like the products and I just wanted to focus on other boxes. But when they announced these two I seriously could not pass them up! One had one of my favorite mascaras in it and that is kinda what sold me and I thought might as well get both. And I am so glad I did!

We will start with the Naturals Box. 

This one I think was only 5 dollars. I really liked the cute boxes this time. But soon they will probably be painted over and used for other gift boxes. haha

Ok let's start with the SoapBox Argan Shampoo.

On the card it says this is a Traget exclusive item. Guys I really love Argan oil! So this shampoo should be perfect! I have not tired it yet though I am SUPER excited too and it smells heavenly. Haha So hopefully it will give good results!!!!

Next let go with the Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

Ok so I tried this once and I highly enjoy it! It is small so I can throw it in my purse. It smells good and it definatly gives my hands the moisture they need. Especially in this winter weather where dry hands are almost alwayguaranteed. So this is a nice product. And it also says it is a target exclusive as well

Next Item on the list is the Burt's Bees Facial Wipes 

ONe, I love everything burt's bees. Two these smell awesome. and three, I just love makeup remover wipes. I like these they are nice on the face, removes my makeup. I really like them. I have tried so many makeup remover wipes and these are definatly on top of the list for my favorite!!!

SheaMoisture Coconut Hibiscus Smoothie

So I don't have curly hair, so I probably won't use this product. It smells nice though. Which is good. haha

Borghese Age Defying Facial Scrub

SO. MANY. FACIAL. SCRUBS. I am not joking either. I think I have enough facial scrubs to last me a life time. It smells good but I have yet to use it, if I ever get around to it. HAHA

And last but not least The Acure Organics Facial Cleanser

Wait another facial scrub?!? Two in one box?!?! I have heard super good things about this one so I am actually really excited to try it! Hopefully I end up liking it. Again it smells good haha. 

So the Target Naturals box I have really liked. I only paid five dollars for it and it is a 25 dollar value so I say I scored with this box.

Now On to the For Her Box. This box I paid 10 Dollars for and it values at 50 bucks I think. 

This was a bigger box becasue it had more things in it, but same design. Again I like getting boxes. Gives me the opprotunity to redecorate them in the future. :)

First item on the list is 

Pixie Endless Silky Eye Pen

Guys this thing is amazing!!! NOt only do I love all pixie products, but this eye liner is freaking awesome and one of mymost favorite things in this box. It goes on super smooth and literally lasts all day! I willdefiantly  be buying this again because honestly I LOVE it!!! :D

NExt is the Revelon HD Lacquer

If you know me you know I am not a big fan of lip gloss. So I wrapped this one up to give to my sister for Christmas. It is a nice hot pink sparkly color. So hopefully she will like it :)

Hair Food Thickening Solution

I am actually super excited to try this product, I haven't tried it yet but it seems nice. It smells was good so that always makes me wanna try it. HAHA IT is suposed to boost volume body and shine. I hope it does because heaven forbid my hair could use it haha.

Next we have the L'Oreal Butterfly Intenza Mascara

So, I already use just the normal butterfly mascara, and I have loved it. Ever since I first tired it I have loved it. So I was super excited for this to arive in my box. :D The difference with this one is it has two winged out sides on the brush while the other only has one. I tried it when I got it and I LOVE it! I will be switching to use this one. I like this one a lot better. I notice a difference in length and volume. So yeah definatly love it!

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers Kit

Now I love eye shadow and I love covergirl so why wouldn't I use this product. It has nice nutral colors in it that are pretty much good for any occasion. So I call it a win!

Next Product is the ChapStick Total Hydration Lip Care

I have loved this product ever since I have recived it! It was the first product I tried. Because I am trying to find a way good chapstick and I think I found it! I relaly LOVE this chapstick and will be buying more when this is gone :)

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

Iam a little confused and afraid to use this product. I have never heard of a water sleeping mask before. I have actually put off using it because I am afriad of it. Hopefully it is good, but oyu never know especially when trying something new. Maybe I will brave it and try it. Anyone else tried it that would like to let me know what they think?

And the last item was the Boosts No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum

This is something I have never heard of before. I am excited to try it though. So I guess we will see!!! :D

So In total I paid 15 dollars for these two boxes

And they retail at 75$ so again I say it was worth it!!

Lip Monthly December 2014

 Ok so since it is basically all the subscriptions come in at one time I will be doing another one. 

Tonight I will be doing Lip Monthly December 2014 Bag.

Lip Monthly is a subscription that basically just gives you lip products which is nice because i LOVE lippies! But I think sadly I will be unsubscribing because I have been a bit underwhelmed with the last couple months bags...

Well let's start!

OK so the bag this month is SUPER cute!!!! It is very wintery! 

Cute right? Not so simple but really fun makeup bag for those holidays :) It is a nice size and will fit lots of stuff in there. 

The first product I am going to review is the Magnolia Makeup Lipstick with Applicator. 

It says on my card that is product retails at 15 dollars. So I guess that kinda pays for mybag haha. But anyways. I thought I wouldn't like this because I am not a lipgloss person. But it doesn't go on like lip gloss and like it says it is a lip stick so I gave it a try and it is a nice color and nice. This one I willbe keeping. It is a nice color for the holidays.

Next is the Milani Brilliant Shine Gloss in the color Nude Touch

Let me start by saying I am NOT a fan of lipgloss. I pulled the applicator out of the tube and could already tell I wasn't going to like it. So I will be gifting this lippie to probably my little sister for Christmas. My little sister must love getting a ton of my extras haha. 

I will give that it is a pretty color, but other than that just not my thing.

Next is the LA Girl Automatic Liner in the color Mauvelous

Guys I do love lip liner and this color is a very good one :) So I will be using this product probably ofter since it is a red color but will also go with my browny lippies. :)

And last but not least The NYC lipstick in the color Mocha

I have really been into brown lip colors lately so when I saw this I was really excited! It is a good color and it will go with so many things! 

So this bag I was really sad didn't have the different product in it that wasn't a lippie. I really have liked those. But like I said Lip Monthly hasn't been my most favorite subscription and so I will probably be unsubscribing from it after the new year. Plus I am getting so many lippies it is ridiculous! If you are in LOVE with lippies then definatly subscribe to this bag. It isonly 10 dollars a month and my bag retails at about 26 dollars this month! So it is worth it.

Ipsy December 2014

So I have been kinda dropping the ball on doing my beauty subscription reviews. 

So I am here to start over and try again. I work from home now so maybe in between things I can get caught up and post more! I really do like blogging, so here we go!

First off I would like to thank everyone who entered my giveaway!

So ipsy, I have really enjoyed being subscribed to ipsy! I am loving it! I am not always in love with everything that comes in my bags, but there is always that one bag that makes it all worth it. For me it was this bag, for December of 2014. 

I am so in love with this bag. Now I have to admit that because I am not a person that likes surprises, I always peek at my glam room first chance I get. Now this month when I got to look at my glam room I wasn't very excited for this bag, but then it came and I was more thrilled than I ever could have been!

Let's start with the bag look.

Super cute simple black bag with the little heart on the zipper. Just looking at it I already love it. Like I said simple and will pretty much match any bag I decide to throw it in to. So far so good. This bag is doing great for me!

So next I wanna talk about the  Beauty Without Cruelty facial cleanser. 

So my first thoughts were another facial cleanser? I have so many, they will probably all last me a lifetime.  But then anybody wanna guess what I did next? If you guess smelled it you are right. If you have read any of my previous posts you know I like to smell anything that may have a good smell to it. 

And let me just say I LOVE the smell! It smells so clean and fresh! Defiantly one of the cleanest smells I have ever smelt. 

So just becasue of that I decided to use it. When I used this product, I really liked it. It was a nice facial cleanser and a little went a long way. It got all my makeup off my face with no issues, and it left me feeling cleansed. :P  Not to mention this product is bigger than most cleansers I get in my beauty subscriptions. It is 2 fl oz, and I honestly love that it is that size. Such a GREAT product!!!!

OK next I wanna talk about the Style Sexy Hair 450 Blow Out

This product is awesome! I love any of the Sexy Hair products! I use them all the time!!! Haha I needed a good deat spray and this works well and the smell is wonderful too! ;) Such a great product and such a great size 1.7 fl oz. I don't know if I will be buying it when it runs out because I feel there are cheaper products out there that do that same thing.

Next up is the NYX butter lip balm. I got the color Marshmellow

Honestly not my favorite product. It is nice for a lip balm but not much more than that. I am not a fan of the smell or the color. I will use it for a lip balm  but nothing more. Great for this dry weather. :)

So yeah I have more lip balm I like better but this will be nice to just throw in my purse if needed. To grab and go.

Ok next let's talk about the tarte lights camera lashes mascara! 

First let me talk about how much I LOVE this packaging!!! :D This is my favorite shade of purple in the WORLD!!! I have heard such good things about this mascara! So when I got ipsy I couldn't wait to try it out for my self! 

I have recfently become a mascara junkie, and I can honestly say with one swipe of this mascara I was in LOVE!!! Defiantly worth all the hype! I love it!!! I will probably be buying it when this one runs out!

Then my favorite product in my ipsy bag

The Cailyn Just Mineral Eye Polish in the color Orchid

Guys this color is amazing!!! 

I know you can't really tell but it is the most pretty rosey gold color ever!!! I have been looking for an eye shadow that is this color for a long time and I am so happy I finally found it!!! I will for sure be buying more of this eye shadow!!! :D So in LOVE!

Ok so this month I got a little more in my bag as well. I redeemed my points!

I chose the Milani bella eyes Gel shadow trio :)

The colors they come in are Bella Ivory, Bella Gold, and Bella Espresso. I love all three colors!!! 

The application is amazing and they are very pigmented colors! So happy I chose to get those with my points!!! 

Iam really glad I am subscribed to ipsy! It is so GREAT!!!!

Why I Got Into Makeup and GIVEAWAY!

So, I have a new blog look and I am so excited about it!!! I would really like to thank Ashley ashleyzieglerdesigns.blogspot.com! She is AMAZING and this and I couldn't be more happy with the way it looks. If you need your blog redone contact her defiantly! Anyways.

With my new blog look I wanted to go with a post on why I really got into makeup. Why this is something really important in my life.

I used to rarely ware makeup. And when I did all it was was foundation, eyeliner and mascara. Anything else was to much for me. I hated the feeling of makeup on my face.

I have always wanted to go to cosmetology school, but more for the hair side and never the makeup side of it. But little did I know makeup would basically become my life.

Back on my wedding day, the girl who was going to do my makeup broke down on her way to me and so then it was up to me to do my makeup. So I did. I was really paranoid about it because it was my wedding day, I didn't wanna look bad. When I saw my mom that morning the first thing I asked was if my makeup looked bad, she said no you have always been good at doing makeup.
And that my friends planted the seed.

A few months later my friend Haley had told me about ipsy and birchbox. I decided hey why not. I can maybe try some new things see if I like them and go from there. Shortly after that I quit my CNA type job and got a new job where I had to look nice everyday. That is when I took ipsy and birchbox more seriously. I started using all the different samples in them. Experimenting with different makeup looks. Spending lots of time watching tutorials on youtube.

When we moved I started looking more and more into other subscription boxes, because you know what? Makeup started making me feel pretty. And because it was making me feel pretty it was making me feel confident in myself.

Confidence, that is something that all throughout my life I was sorely lacking. Going throughout high school I would always compare myself to others. Which would of course lead to low self esteem. Even when I first got married and I had someone who loved me and thought I was beautiful no matter what,  I still didn't have very much self esteem or confidence in myself. But makeup changed that.

A lot of people think girls wear makeup for boys, but truth be told I wear makeup for myself . It helps me feel god about myself, when i wear makeup it is not for anybody else but me.

So like I said I started looking at other subscription boxes and such because I just loved it! I loved experimenting, I loved getting new products, I loved it all.

After getting into it I decided I wanted to go to cosmetology school for not only hair but for makeup as well. I wanted to look more in to makeup artistry. Well I am happy to say I found a school I like that I am planning on attending that has a makeup artistry program along with their hair program.

I just have no words on what makeup has helped me realize what I was missing all along.  I would like to thank ipsy and birchbox because they were the first step in helping me realize this. If you look at my makeup collection now it is huge!

So now I would like to share with you my most favorite makeup product out of all my makeup products.

My favorite thing to use everyday when doing my makeup is lipstick. I really feel like it ties my whole look together. :) I have gotten a lot of my lipsticks from birchbox and ipsy. And I really have to thank them for that because seriously I LOVE lip color!!!

I never ever thought I would be one to be into lipstick. But I am and I love it. I have a hard time everyday choosing which color I want to wear. 

So I guess that is why makeup has become a big part of my life. It makes me feel more confident in myself, it makes me happy and I want to be able to make others happy. All throughout life you wonder what your "nack" is going to be, and mine is makeup. I am so happy I discovered it finally and get to share my love with others. Sometimes I feel like my face is an empty canvas and I can do anything with it.
