So a couple people have asked for this review and I think it is about time I have gotten around to it!
First off I wanna start by saying I am so sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I have been extremely busy. I have started a new job and I just got a promotion at that job, and I have been trying to get ready to move out of my apartment and yadda yadda yadda the list goes on and on.
But I am back and this time really hoping to keep this going. So here is the first post of hopefully many.
So I first heard of colourpop on a youtube channel I watch and I was like ummm yes five dollars for a lip stick yes! So my birthday was coming up and so I ordered some. I spent a long time researching the colors I wanted, and then I also had a coupon of if I spent 25 dollars I got five dollars off. Umm something free?!? YES PLEASE!
So with my five dollars off I ordered an eye shadow because I have heard those are good too.
So anyways I ordered 7 lippie sticks. The nice thing about colourpop is for every lippie stick they have they have a matching lip liner to go with it. So you don't run into the problem of oh I have a lip stick that needs a lip liner and I can't find one that matches.
Although I did not get the lip liners that go with my lip colors I am looking into it, because it is just so easy and I can have that perfect match color.
So here is a picture of the swatches of my lippie sticks.
So yeah. If you know me you know I am all about that dark lip color. But I wanted som pretty ones for the spring and summer as well. The nice thing about these lippie sticks is they are pigmented up the wazoo! As you can see they come in different finishes. They have matte, satin, cream, glossy, hyper glossy and pearlized. All the ones I have are either matte or satin I believe.
The packaging for this product is super cute
Ok so first picture you can see the come in a white packaging with silver lettering. When you open up the lid you get the color of the lippie stick, and on the bottom is the color, the name, and the finish it is in whcih you will see more of on each individual color. They are retractable which is so nice, and yeah. so let's get into this.
Let's start with the first color Clique.
Seriously this is a BEAUTIFUL red orange color. I don't think the pictures I got do it justice at all. This is probably one of the favorites that I ordered, and I almost didn't order it. Clique is a matte finish, which I love, it makes it look so pretty.
Like I said this picure does not do it justice. One thing that I don't like about matte lip sticks is that they are extremely drying. Colourpop is not. They have not once dried out my lips and they are also long lasting.
Next is Bichette
This is a nice red purple color in a matte finish. This looks right down my alley as a color I would wear but it is not in my favorites of the ones I got. It is super pretty don't get me wrong, but I just don't feel the color.
You know I take it back this is more of a red than a purple red. But still it is pretty and I think perfect for an occasion.
Next is Fancy
So I got this color because I thought it was so good for spring and summer. It is in a satin finish and it is just so beautiful on. The thing that I like about the satin finishes is that, they still look some what matte, but thet have just enough shine to just make them look perfect.
See just a super pretty orangy nutral. I love this for everyday looks. Or just a little lip color... I really don't think any of my pictures are being done justice to the real thing haha :)
Next is Dalia. OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE THIS COLOR!!!
Now this is going to be your dark purpley red. I am so in love with purple lipstick. SO IN LOVE!!! Now as you will see when this is on it shows more red but the purple untones are gorgeous!
YAS! Oh man I just love this color so much! I just.... Let's just stop and do praise hands for a second. If you want to know what those are, go to your emojis on your phone and find the hands that are squared off I guess and they have three little lines above them too. I call them praise hands haha
Ok now that I am done with that gorgeous color. Lets move on.
Rocket. This was the first color that actually caught my eye when I was looking through all their lippie sticks
Pretty and pink! Oh man, I was just like I need that color it is like a coraly pink. I know on the darker side of coraly, but look at it on.
YES! It is so pretty, It says it is a satain finish, but believe me I feel like it is a matte, and it is just so pretty for the spring and summer! OH my I am IN LOVE!
Ok this next color I was debating on getting like the whole time... When I placed my order I was like maybe I shouldn't have gotten that color.... But I am so happy I did. And to be honest I only really ordered it because of the name
Feminist.
Like I said before I really like purple lipsticks. Like A LOT! And this black purple is so awesome! And it is matte. I couldn't ask for a better combo!
Ok yes! I just love it! and with my dark hair it looks amazing! I gotta find more opprotunites to wear this guy!
Ok and last color. I have actually yet to wear this one, but it is very pretty!

Just a beautiful purple! And it is matte
